Privacy Policy

This policy explains how ShineQuote handles information when you use the app. ShineQuote is operated by Cruz Birchard.

Information you enter into ShineQuote

You may enter business contact information, customer names and contact details, vehicle details, appointment dates and locations, service descriptions, prices, taxes, discounts, payment amounts and methods, notes, payment links, and a business logo.

In the current version, these business records are stored locally on your device. They are not uploaded to a ShineQuote-operated user account or cloud database.

Photos and business logos

With your permission, ShineQuote lets you select an image from the device photo library for use as a business logo on quote and invoice PDFs. The selected logo is stored with the app’s local data. ShineQuote does not upload your photo library to a ShineQuote-operated server.

Messages, PDFs, links, and calls

ShineQuote can open system apps and services, including Messages, Mail, Phone, a web browser, and the iOS share sheet. The app may prefill customer information or a message, but you decide whether to call, send, open, export, or share it.

Information shared with another app or service is handled according to that provider’s privacy practices.

Customer payments

A business may save a third-party payment-link URL and include it in a payment request or invoice. ShineQuote does not process, verify, hold, or receive the customer’s detailing payment or payment-card information. The business records payment amounts manually.

Local notifications

With your permission, ShineQuote may schedule private local reminders on the device for appointments and repeat-service follow-ups. These reminders are created on the device. You can turn notification access off in iPhone Settings.

Subscriptions, Apple, and RevenueCat

ShineQuote Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. ShineQuote uses RevenueCat to manage subscription access and restore purchases.

For this purpose, Apple and RevenueCat may process purchase history, transaction and subscription status, an app-generated anonymous subscriber identifier, device or app information, and technical diagnostics needed to provide subscription functionality. ShineQuote does not receive your full payment-card details.

Tracking, advertising, and analytics

The current version does not include third-party advertising, cross-app advertising tracking, or a separate third-party product-analytics SDK. Apple and RevenueCat may process subscription-service diagnostics as necessary to provide purchases, entitlement status, fraud prevention, and support.

Data retention and deletion

Local records remain on your device until you delete individual records, use Delete All Local Data, or remove the app. Device backups may retain app data according to your operating-system backup settings.

Subscription records may be retained by Apple and RevenueCat according to their policies and legal obligations. For a privacy question or a request concerning ShineQuote-controlled subscription-support information, contact us at the address below.

Security

ShineQuote uses platform storage, sharing, notification, and purchase services. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect access to your device and third-party payment accounts, and avoid entering information that is not needed to operate your business.

Children

ShineQuote is a business utility and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when features or data practices change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
